About Us

East West Global is a Commodity Pool Operator (CPO) registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and a member of the National Futures Association (NFA) that specializes in Hybrid Income hedge funds for both wealth preservation and income creation.

The corporate headquarters is located just north of Chicago in Highland Park, Illinois.

We created and operate a series of hedge funds that utilize our proprietary strategy to combine an underlying investment grade bond portfolio that provides income, while overlaying a futures portfolio to produce alpha. These funds are specifically tailored to meet the needs of high-net-worth individuals and family offices seeking wealth preservation as well as intergenerational income and wealth transfer strategies. This unique approach provides opportunities for maximum growth, while maintaining our main focus on risk management.

Luke Adrian

Mr. Adrian started his futures career as a runner on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in 1981, after 3 years of studying how the markets work and charting the markets for several traders on the floor; he then became a local trader in the currency pits of the CME in 1984. He served for several years on the Membership Committee of the CME. After many years as a local trader, Mr. Adrian moved to the operational side of the business and has held the position of VP of Operations for several clearing members of both the CME and Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).

During the decade beginning March 1999 through October, 2009, Mr. Adrian was among the founders, and Chief Financial Officer of National Collegiate Scouting Association or NCSA Sports. He was also a major shareholder of the company and a member of the executive board. He was instrumental in taking the company from its infancy, to a multimillion dollar business during that time period. He sold his interest in the firm at the end of 2009 to pursue his interests in returning to his business roots in the futures industry and more specifically to focus on the business of managed futures.

On January 28, 2010 he formed Hayden Worldwide, LLC. On March 3, 2010 he became a CFTC approved Principal and on June 30, 2010 the firm was approved as an Independent Introducing Broker and Mr. Adrian became a CFTC Associated Person (“AP”) and NFA Associate Member on that same day. Hayden Worldwide primarily provided brokerage services to commodity pools and the individual managed accounts of commodity trading advisors. Mr. Adrian was the chief Executive of Hayden and was responsible for all business operations.

In order to take the next step in his plan he formed East West Global, LLC. in March of 2013. On June 4, 2013 East West Global, LLC. was registered as a commodity pool operator. To avoid any conflict of interest he closed his IB to focus solely on the management of East West Global, LLC.

Mr. Adrian is an AP, a registered Principal and NFA Associate Member of East West Global, LLC. He is also a Principal of the firm. Mr. Adrian is the chief executive of the firm responsible for all of its business activities that require registration.

He purchased several other futures funds and combined them into his new company in order to jump start this new venture.

Mr. Adrian is a graduate of Wake Forest University. He is Series 3, Series 30 and Series 34 qualified, and lives in Glencoe, IL with his wife and son.
